From this solo's program notes:
This solo should have a relaxed, but confident feeling. The title is made clear as the theme in the first two bars. One limb is used, then two limbs, then all four...and again! It is varied in mm. 11-12, and mm. 17-20. Players must be watchful for whether the groove is played using hi-hat or ride cymbal.
New skills include:
Identifying hi-hat closed with the pedal and crash cymbal. Playing with all four limbs at once. Playing fortissimo.
Difficulty: Grade 1
Length: 1 minute
