Program Notes: Certain Uncertainty is written for flute, oboe, and basson with added percussion.
 
The flute player also plays kick drum, and the oboe and basssoon each play a hi-hat. The plus signs indicate a closed hi-hat, and
the "o" symbols indicate the hi-hat be closed and re-opened immediately to create a "splash" sound.
