From this solo's program notes:
Just like the name suggests, this solo ought to be played at a slow tempo with a soft dynamic. It helps with the more involved linear patterns and independence, as well as the new sixteenth notes.
New skills include:
Reading sixteenth notes. Reading ahead quicker with smaller lines. Playing at a controlled, slower tempo. Maintaining a
soft dynamic throughout, playing piano and mezzo piano. 4-on-the-floor kick drum.
