Stalactite, Stalagmite, Column (8-Mallet Marimba)

The first piece written for the Duncan technique. This piece was written alongside development of the technique. It utilizes double-single independents, quadruple verticals, double-double verticals, and one-handed rolls using mallets 1 and 4.
 
The titular cave structures are programmatic in the organization and contours of gestures.
