"Viscous Air" is a lively piece written for woodwind quintet, flute, oboe, Bb clarinet, bassoon, and horn in F. It captures the anticipatory feeling of the summer air, thick with heat and excitement! The framing portions of the piece are light and playful, while the middle section is a sweet, syrupy chorale.
