What is a "Found Metal?" (Drum-set)

What is a "Found Metal?" Really, why do we call it that? I'm sure you all have strong opinions either way, so give me your honest feedback.
 
Anyway, this is a short metal-drumming inspired piece highlighting many of the conventions of the style. Heavy, "brutal" playing, breakneck endurance testing double kick pedal action, crash/open hi-hat/ride bell/china barks, and relentless rhythmic interplay makes this solo easily the toughest of my short works for the instrument. 
 
The short length allows the player to treat it like a stylistic etude, or to demonstrate prowess and power in this style.
